About Rick Ware Racing and Josh Bilicki

Former driver Rick Ware is the owner of Rick Ware Racing. He made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 1990 and spent the next decade racing in series such as ARCA and the Busch Series (now known as Xfinity Series) before turning to full time team owner duties.

Rick Ware Racing (RWR) currently fields four charters in the NASCAR Cup Series; No. 15, 51, 52 and 53. Located in Mooresville, North Carolina, RWR has competed within NASCAR’s top touring series since 2000. In 2021, RWR will also field a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series entry (No. 17), as well as two full-time entries in the NTT INDYCAR Series (No. 51 & No. 52).

Over the past 20 years, RWR has competed in the Super Trofeo Series, IMSA, Asian Le Mans Series, ARCA, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and several other smaller series.

Josh Bilicki, age 25, is a professional race car driver from Wisconsin. Josh began racing go-karts at age four and after nearly ten years of success in many different karting series, Josh made the transition to sportscar racing at age fifteen. He made his professional racing debut in IMSA in 2015 and one year later, Josh transitioned to stockcar racing.

Josh is currently set to compete full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021, which includes his debut in the historic Daytona 500. Bilicki, will drive the number 52 entry for Rick Ware Racing, in what will be his first full season in the Cup Series. Since his NASCAR debut in 2016, Bilicki has a combined 112 starts across NASCAR’s top three series.
