New My Place Hotel set to open Spring 2023 in Idaho Falls, ID

Aberdeen, SD – May 23, 2022 – My Place Hotels breaks ground on a new location in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The new hotel is expected to debut in the spring of 2023. The 3-Story, 64 unit is owned by MP Idaho Falls Holdings, LLC.

The property will sit just minutes from the heart of historic downtown Idaho Falls and adjacent to the new Snake River Landing Development. Idaho Falls is the second-largest city in Idaho, with an estimated population of approximately 64,000 people. The city serves as the commercial, cultural, and healthcare hub for eastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and southern Montana. Idaho Falls’ location in the greater Bonneville County is often referred to as the “Gateway to Yellowstone Park” due to its proximity to one of the nation’s most popular national parks and its own recreational activities.

My Place Hotels of America proudly announced the major landmark of reaching their 100^th franchise at the 2022 My Place Hotels Convention at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach, Florida. The exciting news was shared by President and CEO, Ryan Rivett during the Opening Ceremony of the convention.

The property will feature 64 suites with My Place standard full-sized refrigerator and two-burner cooktops. Upon opening, the property will be managed by Guard Hospitality, a management company created in 2021 to focus on the management of the select service extended-stay market and specifically My Place Hotels. Guard Hospitality currently manages five assets across the country and will add two more in May.
