Southern Hospitality Meets Modern Comfort: My Place Hotels Comes to Augusta, GA

Excitement filled the air as a new addition was officially welcomed to the My Place Hotels family. The grand opening celebration brought together community members, team leaders, and partners for a day full of connection, refreshments, and shared excitement. My Place Hotel-Augusta, GA marks the 3rd My Place Hotel property opened by Rimrock Companies, following the successful openings of Nampa, ID, and St. Joseph, MO. Each opening reflects Rimrock’s ongoing commitment to expanding the My Place footprint and is part of a two-phase franchise and development agreement for 10 extended-stay hotels throughout the South over the next few years.

The Augusta community came together to celebrate this exciting addition to the city’s growing hospitality landscape. Jill Taylor of TGC Hospitality Management (management) and General Manager Anu Paregi kicked off the event by welcoming guests and introducing a representative from Mayor Garnet Johnson’s office. Guests also heard from several speakers who shared in the celebration, including Eric Myers, VP of Franchise Development of My Place Hotels, Leslie McClure, President of TGC Hospitality Management, and James Allen, VP of Member & Community Development of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce. The highlight of the event came as the ribbon was officially cut, symbolizing the start of a new chapter for both My Place Hotels and the Augusta community. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of conversation, connection, and a shared sense of excitement for what’s ahead.
