It was double the fun for My Place Hotels of America as we celebrated two events in one day—the groundbreaking of our fifth Arizona property, located in Mesa, and the grand opening of our third Nevada property, Las Vegas South/Henderson.

The eventful day began with Mesa's groundbreaking ceremony that brought together members of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, hotel ownership (OpWest Partners), Iridius Capital, Legacy Builders, Legacy Management, representatives from our team at My Place Hotels of America, and the City of Mesa. Speakers included Sally Harrison, President/CEO of Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and Ryan Rivett, President/CEO of My Place Hotels.

This new location in Mesa is My Place Hotel's fifth property in Arizona, demonstrating the brand's continued commitment to serving travelers across the state with comfortable, convenient, and affordable extended stay accommodations. Whether visiting for business or leisure, the Mesa location will offer all the accommodations travelers have come to expect from My Place Hotels. This 4-story, 86-key hotel will feature a range of amenities, including:

  • Grilling pavilion
  • Fully equipped kitchens in each room
  • Pet-friendly accommodations
  • 24-hour My Store, which has food, beverages, and other travel essentials

As construction kicks off, we look forward to opening the doors in Mesa and continuing to serve the growing demand for reliable, guest-focused accommodations in The Valley and beyond. This location is expected to open early in 2026. 

The party continued at the official grand opening of Las Vegas South/Henderson, NV that afternoon. My Place Hotels of America representatives made their way to Vegas to celebrate with the hotel operations team (National Hospitality Management), the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Sun West Commercial, and the City of Henderson.

Las Vegas South/Henderson, NV, is My Place Hotels' largest property to date, with 94 rooms across four stories. Guests were invited to take a tour and experience the signature comforts of the newest My Place Hotel. Each of the spacious rooms has a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, two-burner stovetop, and other household appliances. The property also features a 24-hour My Store, on-site laundry facilities, and pet-friendly accommodations. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and appreciation as attendees explored the thoughtfully designed spaces and learned more about what sets My Place Hotels apart.

There were several speakers at this event, including: Christian Carrillo, Membership Sales Associate for Henderson Chamber of Commerce; Monica Larson, Councilwoman of the City of Henderson; Francisco Morales, Director of Operations for National Hospitality Management; and Ryan Rivett, President/CEO of My Place Hotels. After remarks were made and the ribbon was cut, guests enjoyed local street tacos and delicious cake, as well as the signature My Place Punch.
