We are proud to officially welcome guests to our brand-new hotel in Mesa, Arizona, while also celebrating the grand re-opening of our Hurricane, Utah property. With two major milestones in just two days, the momentum behind My Place’s growth is stronger than ever.
What makes these moments even more meaningful is our commitment to being present. At My Place Hotels, our corporate team prioritizes attending every grand opening and re-opening event. Showing up in person allows us to fully support our hotel teams, connect with community partners, and celebrate the hard work that brings each property to life.
A Grand Welcome in Mesa
The grand opening of our Mesa, Arizona, property was a true celebration of collaboration, community, and growth. The event’s success was made possible through the partnership between ownership, the My Place brand, the on-property team, Legacy Management, and Legacy Builders, all coming together to bring this beautiful new hotel to life.
Under bright Arizona sunshine, a vibrant crowd gathered to tour the newly built 86-key hotel and experience firsthand what makes My Place Hotels stand out. Guests explored the property while completing their My Place Passports, getting an up-close look at the thoughtful design, modern amenities, and extended-stay comforts that define the My Place experience.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured remarks from representatives of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of the City of Mesa, Tony Lunzman of Legacy Management, and Ryan Rivett, CEO of My Place Hotels of America. Their words reflected not only excitement for the new property, but also the strong partnerships and shared vision behind its development.
One especially meaningful moment came from the presence of Legacy Builders. As the team responsible for constructing the hotel, having their representatives in attendance gave them the rare opportunity to see one of their completed projects fully brought to life- filled with guests, energy, and celebration. It was a powerful reminder of the teamwork and dedication that go into every My Place opening.
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees enjoyed a Native American hoop dance and drum, performing a blessing over the hotel, a thoughtful tribute to the local community and culture. The celebration continued with refreshments, guided tours, and prize giveaways. A fry bread food truck quickly became a crowd favorite, serving unforgettable Indian tacos that added a flavorful and memorable touch to the day.
Most importantly, the Mesa grand opening showcased what My Place Hotels values most: partnership, community connection, and showing up to support the teams who make each property possible. Read more about the My Place Hotel-Mesa, AZ, opening here:
